Prosperity Testimonials

Before I became a student of the principles of prosperity, I was working in a stress-filled job with unhappy people. As I started tithing and “re-wiring my consciousness” I began to see new opportunities I had ignored before. I started my own business and have been self-employed since 2000. Further classes led to developing prosperity consciousness in other aspects of my life like relationships. I like to say “I manifested my wife” but she was really under my nose the whole time. I just had to change my way of seeing. Every time I focus on these principles I find new areas in which they need to be applied.

I am actually an Edwene Gaines student, having attended several of her workshops and Master Prosperity Teacher Training.  The whole key is to apply the information that is shared, from the afternoon seminars or week long retreats..  I have ardently practiced the principles that she imparts and have completely created a shift in my whole circumstances.  At the end of 2003, a was unemployed and lost
everything (house /car/marriage).

The amazing part is that I tithed off my unemployment check (which was very little) faithfully, something that I haven't done before, something that I learned from Edwene. Within in the next year (2004), I was blessed to be able to open my own business and have 6 employees.  Even with the economic down turn we are currently experiencing, I feel that using the tools that she gives creates the basis for continued prosperity both Spiritually and financially.

Look forward to seeing you there.  Love, Peace and Joy

I was homeless, penniless and unemployed…again.  This was not the first time, not the second time, but the third time I had found myself facing this “crisis”.

I can remember very clearly the first time this occurred in my life.  I remember so well the incredible panic and fear that overcame every part of me and threatened my being, my very existence.  I returned very quickly to my Methodist roots seeking something that might save me, might rescue me from this disaster. Yes, God saved me, and I survived.  My soul evolved, as well.  Oh, but how I did continue to struggle!  Something was still not right.   Then, it happened all over again.   Homeless, penniless, unemployed…how could this be?  Although the reason for this situation could be “blamed” on the addictions and bad decisions of my spouse, I knew in my heart that there had to be lessons here for me because this “thing” had returned to us, and that included me.   I came close to leaving my spouse then.  I certainly could not let this happen to me ever again.  But it also was then that I began to question and to search, for what was missing.  What was I missing?  The questions were endless, as was my despair.  I knew the answer was out there somewhere.  Why wasn’t I finding it in my church?  Why wasn’t God answering my prayers?  Couldn’t He hear me?

Somewhere over the course of several years of searching, researching and desperately seeking relief from life, I found Unity.  I had no immediate or overnight miracles.  I didn’t have a Unity church, or a mentor or a guru to help me.  I had to search and study on my own.  But the Unity principles resonated in my soul so intensely that I was lead to every book that I needed to learn what I needed – which was the truth that set me free!

So, when I found myself homeless, penniless and unemployed (God forbid - a third time!), it was close to Christmas.  I initially panicked, and the familiar fear bubbled up inside.  I had to remember what I had been studying and had come to know in my heart.  I relaxed and meditated and my soul opened up to hear the “small, still voice” speaking so clearly now.   I became calm, centered, thankful.  I began to actively engage in affirmative prayer, thanking God for this “situation”, and for blessing me so abundantly.  I envisioned and affirmed a new and glorious life for my spouse and myself, filled with joy and prosperity, in a new and wonderful place.  I envisioned the new job I had always secretly hoped for but never allowed myself to believe in.  That Christmas day, I gave $20 to a homeless man, leaving little for myself, and said a prayer of thanksgiving for the all the good that I knew was, at that very moment, winging its way to me.  And, most importantly, I began to introduce Unity principles to my broken spouse, who was now, more than ever, ready to know the truth.

This story has the wonderful ending that you would expect:  we received and still enjoy a life of abundance and prosperity!  My spouse began to study and live Unity, and is happy, healthy, and clean.  Our relationship began to improve and today we are closer and happier than ever.  Within a few months of that “crisis”, we had new jobs, a new home and a new car.  Today, I sing with joy on a daily basis, so thankful to know the truth that has set me free.  My spouse and I tithe generously, knowing that God is unlimited and will continue to bless us abundantly.  Prosperity flows freely in our lives.  Each and every day we look at each other and say, “Thank you, God!”
