The 4 Laws of Prosperity
The First Law of Prosperity:
Tithing
“Tithing means giving back to God one-tenth of everything you earn... Simply stated, tithing will change your life.”
“The word tithe means a tenth. To tithe is to return
10% of all we receive to a person, place or institution
from which we have received spiritual food
(that which inspires us teaches us, reminds us of
the Truth, and causes us to remember who we
really are.)”
“The real purpose of the tithe is to acknowledge
God is the source of our good and that we are
aware and grateful for all the good in our lives.”
The Second Law of Prosperity:
Setting Goals
“When you start tithing, the windows open and a shower of good keeps flowing into your life. Now you need something to catch the good with, or it will be lost to you. Setting concrete and practical goals creates a vessel with which you can catch it.”
“What we are really doing when we are setting goals is directing our faith. Having directed faith means having a heart-felt specific desire, coupled with a deep and abiding trust in the goodness and generosity of God, and therein lies the magic and power of setting our goals.”
The Third Law of Prosperity:
Forgiveness
“Harboring a grudge completely blocks our ability to have peace of mind. All sorts of studies indicate that negative thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors affect our mental and physical heath, our success, and out self-worth … Forgiveness is not something we do for the sake of another person. Forgiveness is something we do for ourselves.”
“Think of forgiveness as emotional housecleaning. It lets us make room for the good we desire.”
The Fourth Law of Prosperity:
Divine Purpose
“…when you make a 100 percent commitment to do or be something and you take every step with integrity, the universe will open a way where before there was no way; the universe will rush in to support you.”
“The truth about you is that you are a spiritual being, living in a spiritual universe, governed by spiritual law. You came to this planet to play at the highest level that has ever been played. You came to play at the level of Gandhi, of Dr. Martin Luther King, of Mother Teresa, at the level of every great and wise soul who ever made a difference. You came to play with the big kids.”
