Senior Minister, Rev. Alice Anderson

Rev. Alice is in her 3^rd year as Senior Minister and Spiritual Leader of Christ Church Unity (CCU) of Orlando, FL.  Since Alice’s arrival, attendance at CCU has tripled and participation for weekly classes, teams and special events is at an all-time high.  The basis of the growth is a focus on soul growth and transformation.  Prayer and meditation are daily practices of church leadership including the Board of Trustees, staff, and Prayer Chaplains.  All leaders are holding a larger vision for the individual and the world.

Soul evolution is Rev. Alice’s passion and she is honored to support you in taking your next spiritual step.

Youth Minister, Rev. Shannon Olesen 

Shannon Olesen completed ministerial school and was ordained by the Association of Unity Churches in 2004.  Youth & Family Ministry brings together all of Shannon’s favorite things:  teaching, counseling, and ministry with people of all ages.

Prior to entering ministry, Shannon worked in social services for 10 years.  After completing a master of social work degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1995, she worked in Child Protective Services in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Shannon continued her work with kids, teens, and families at a 24 hour Children’s Shelter in Kansas City, Missouri.

Shannon began serving in Youth & Family Ministry as a volunteer teacher in 1998.  She has led two of Unity’s largest Youth & Family programs in Overland Park, Kansas and Phoenix, Arizona.  Shannon is very excited to now serve Christ Church Unity as Youth & Family Minister.
