Special Ceremonies
Special Ceremonies are an honor to provide for members, friends, and loved ones of Christ Church Unity. In Unity, we believe in the sacredness of all life and appreciate the opportunity to support you and your family in all of life’s journeys. Our Prayer Chaplains are available at all events for prayer and support as they hold sacred space. All Weddings, Unions, Memorials, and Christenings are provided with a feeling of sacredness, respect, and honor to all involved. 
For our weddings, we have special coordinators to ensure that every need is provided for and every detail is managed with ease, joy and grace. Each couple has the opportunity to meet with Senior Minister, Rev. Alice Anderson, for couples counseling or general questions about the ceremony. The sanctuary and chapel are both available for a beautiful and meaningful ceremony. Musicians and sound technicians may be provided on request.
Memorials are given great care, spiritual consciousness, and much prayer to provide a beautiful honoring of life. Each memorial is especially planned with a family meeting to discover all the wonderful attributes of the person who has made their transition. Music, poetry, and special words are chosen by family and assistance from the Senior Minister is provided as needed. Musicians and sound technicians may be provided on request.
Christenings and baptisms are available for any and all ages. In Unity, we teach original blessing, that each of us is in fact, expressions of the Divine Presence of God. A christening or baptism is simply recognition of the Truth that already exists within each person. Christenings are typically administered in a private ceremony but may be part of the worship service, as schedule permits.
