Upon walking into Christ Church Unity a little over four years ago; I almost immediately knew that I had found my new Spiritual home. There is something very special about this place. Our opening statement says it all; “We are a welcoming community, dedicated to transforming lives…” I am honored to serve on this board and to be involved with this dynamic ministry. Although I've followed Unity principles and a spiritual path for many years, nothing motivates me more to grow along spiritual lines than the community here at Christ Church Unity. This community has welcomed me at every step on the way to discovering the teacher that showed up in the form of breast cancer. Having been confused by traditional American style religion, I have been prepared alone for the last 20 years to find a spiritual family with opportunities to serve.  On Feb10, 2008 I walked into CCU and have never left .....right away I knew I was HOME....volunteering to be a chaplain, and now serving as a new Board member, too. Using my gifts here has brought my soul's consciousness to higher vibration.  I see this incredible gathering at CCU as a launching pad for all of Orlando and  even the planet...bringing Truth to all who will receive it. I am here to serve the ministry and congregation in the way I know best.  I bring to the Board my experience in growing my business so that I can help with the rapid growth occurring at Christ Church Unity.  I see serving on the Board as an opportunity to work the spiritual lessons taught in Sunday services by applying those lessons to the operations of the church, and helping to expand the fellowship of the congregation. - Mark Dixon
